Read your team’s defensive coverage
Each row counts how many teammates take more than normal damage, resist damage, or are immune to an attacking type. A red outline flags a shared weakness without a resistant or immune teammate. These are defensive matchups, not moveset or offensive coverage.
Gen 1 uses its 15-type chart and original Pokémon. Gen 2–5 uses the Generation 5 roster and pre-Fairy matchups. Gen 6+ uses the current roster, including regional and Mega forms. These are type-rule eras, not individual game legality filters. The suggestions help you spot gaps, but cannot evaluate moves, items, strategy or your format’s full rules.
