What Pokémon natures change

A non-neutral nature raises one stat by 10% and lowers another by 10%. HP is never affected. Hardy, Docile, Serious, Bashful and Quirky are neutral: all stats keep their normal nature multiplier.

The raised stat determines the flavor a Pokémon likes; the lowered stat determines the flavor it dislikes. Attack is Spicy, Defense Sour, Sp. Atk Dry, Sp. Def Bitter and Speed Sweet. A neutral nature has no flavor preference.

In games with mints, a mint changes the nature’s stat effects without changing the Pokémon’s original nature or flavor preferences. A Serious Mint provides neutral stat effects.
